GODFREY – Let Me.
Godfrey Thomson, also known as Godfrey, is an American songwriter, record producer, singer and musician. Thomson began playing instruments, recording vocals and voice-overs as a child. Later on he found success composing music for television and film, finding a niche creating hard rock and alt-rock music for shows such as Cars TV and American Athlete. On his new single Let Me. he commented:
I wanted to blend elements from the 70’s and 90’s in this record and give it a certain pep. I’ve always had trouble understanding the whole “self love” thing. There’s a bit I don’t like about myself, behaviors etc. The lyrics in this song deal with those feelings and the universal desire to just be free.
